Cancellation Policy

Patch test appointments

In order to confirm an appointment booking, a deposit of £5 is required for certain treatments.

If you need to amend the date of your appointment, we politely ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice so that we can re-allocate the appointment. We guarantee that where notification to cancel appointments is given, with more than 48 hours’ notice, deposits will be refunded or offset against any future treatment required.

If you reschedule or cancel your appointment less than 48 hours prior to your appointment time, then unfortunately your deposit is non-refundable and a new deposit will be required to book any future appointment.

We understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable due to illness or emergencies, and we will take account of all valid circumstances. At the same time, we politely ask for all clients to only consider booking with us only if they are immediately looking to have treatment done. Any appeals about missed or cancelled appointment decisions by a patient should be made in writing to the refunds@advancelaser.co.uk


Prebooked Treatment Packages

Prebooked treatment packages are a cost-efficient way of having a course of treatment with us.

By booking a course and receiving significant reduction in single treatment costs, customers are knowingly entering into a contract with Advance Laser Aesthetics Limited to undertake the course of treatment booked.

No refunds are applicable unless Advance Laser Aesthetics Limited fail in their obligation to conclude these treatments or treatments cannot be concluded due to medical reasons or pregnancy. In respect of the latter, clients will be offered a proportional refund minus the treatments already had. Alternatively, they can restart treatment within a 12-month period.

To obtain a refund please email refunds@advancelaser.co.uk. Refunds will be issued within 28days either to a nominated bank account or charged back to the card it was purchased on.


Cancellation of treatment appointments

If for whatever reason you need to cancel an appointment, please notify us within 48 hours to allow rescheduling your treatment and enable us chance to re offer that appointment.  Cancellations impact a business like ours greatly, hence we thank you for your cooperation.

Cancellations in less than 24 to 48 hours will be subject to a £25 cancellation fee.

Cancellations less than 8hrs of booking will mean that booking is forfeited.


Treatment deposits

It is company policy to take a treatment deposit of £50 against treatment values £100 and over to book that treatment slot in our system.

This treatment deposit is then redeemed against either a single treatment cost or a course of treatment.  When booking treatments with us, customers are entering into contract with us by booking time.


Known use of a tanning products and or holiday/ casual suntan

We reserve the right to cancel appointments for those clients who we suspect having tanning products or have acquired a suntan. We simply cannot treat you for health and safety reasons. You will be offered an alternative appointment in the first instance within recommended guidelines.

Subsequent instances will incur a £25 surcharge or treatment forfeited.


Treatment preparation

Our treatment appointments are set to reduce contact time between client and therapist and focussed on treatment only. Laser hair removal is a relatively quick treatment for this reason.

Please ensure you are prepared for treatment as follows.


Face treatments

All make up removed prior to treatment.


Laser Hair removal

Area shaved and hair removed prior to treatment.

Your appointment will be at risk to being postponed if your therapists time is impacted by non-preparation.


Clients arriving with children

It is policy of Advance Laser Aesthetics limited not to undertake treatments where clients have children with them unless accompanied by a second appropriate adult.

We apologise for this, but due to medical grade equipment being used, we cannot allow children to be in treatment areas or left in reception unattended.

You will be offered the nearest alternative appointment slot.


Covid-19 impacts

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a consultation or treatment if you present with what appears to be Covid 19 Symptoms.

In addition, if we as a business are impacted by staff isolating due to COVID-19, we may also have to cancel or postpone due to diary availability.


Late attendance

If clients are running late for whatever reason, wherever possible, we will attempt to treat If this is likely to impact on our next appointments, we will advise this and offer a n alternative either the same day or later.


Clients are advised to read this policy and adhere to it.
